All four still in the case!

I was with my girlfriend Saturday at a jeweler, and while she was looking at diamonds and stuff, somehow I wandered over to the Rolex case.

After window shopping at other AD's in Michigan, I have seen a SUB here or a SD there - but these these guys still have both black SUBS (date, non-date), a SD, and green SUB in stock (not pictured) - just sitting there.

thought it was interesting, since I keep hearing BS from other AD's that they are impossible to get anymore.

BS is something many ADs have in abundance, its a pity they did not have as much knowledge on the products they sell.

Same thing at my AD, maybe it's different around the globe. I can easily find all those models at every AD I go into. The SD is starting to disappear, but they can still be found easily. I think the LV will be super easy to find for the next year, even if they are discontinued.

They are all easily obtainable at least here in the USA. I have noticed posts from the UK where folks are saying they are harder to get.

FYI -
since I've been asked....

I forgot the name of the AD - but they are the only AD in Ann Arbor, MI
and I know a couple of out-of-state guys HAVE purchased Rolex from them over the phone.
I have no idea what discounting they offer, if any.

Local Santa Fe AD and one in Albuquerque say the Sub Date is difficult to obtain.

That would be a find as they have not been available in the UK for a long time now.

I'm pretty sure it was Regents Street, I was browsing for something else so wasn't paying a great deal of attention, i'm 99% sure i'm right.

Hey wolverine, have you come across a blue dial Daytona in your travels? I would really like to see one in the flesh, but I haven't come across one.

Last year when I was shopping there were a few SDs new in the display cases. Always got the BS---no discounts, no this, no that
Within a week, I was wearing a pre-loved 16600 from somebody who wanted my money. New would have been cool, but it didn't really matter to me.

I still see 14060M's here. The 16610 seems to be out of stock. Have not seen a Sea Dweller in ages.

Nice collection. I think you will be adding a 116610 soon.

Is the second one from the left a 14060M?

They all can be found here in VA...but the prices are horrible! Sorry, but these numbers are getting crazy. I have not bought anything new since a Z SS daytona for $7950 at an AD, and now subs are low 6's??? Wow. Guess I've just gotten used to TRF prices!

Here in Singapore it's relatively easy to find all those watches in an AD's case, except for the Sea-Dweller. By the way, nice lineup!

BTW -
there was a SD at another MI AD -

Karagosian & Sons Jewelers

They are great at discounting, but I don't know if they will discount the SD -
usually, they don't have a clue as to what they are sitting on.
