Question - Please help!

My questions: Did Rolex ever make a Submariner with a jubilee bracelet? Would it be ridiculous to put a jubilee bracelet on a Submariner? Is there another model that looks similar to a Submariner that is available with a jubilee bracelet?

The longer version: I am about to purchase my first Rolex. I have always loved the looks of the Submariner and was hoping to get one. However, I would prefer a jubilee bracelet to oyster. My ideal watch would be steel and yellow gold, blue dial, jubilee bracelet. I prefer a rotatable bezel as well, but that's not a strict requirement. Any suggestions on how to achieve such a watch would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Get a Bluesy, ref 16613. Jubilee might be difficult to find on a Sub.

The jubilee was an option for the older style GMT Master II, which you can obtain in gold and steel, it has the bezel that you like but there is no blue dial option, just black or bronze. The sub has the blue dial you like but may look a little odd on the jubilee.

There again there is the option of the Turnograph Datejust. Perfect!!! you can have your blue dial, bezel, and the jubilee!!! Check them out, they are a bit of a bargain on the used market too!

GMT's used to come with Jubilees. It's a sharp look that I prefer. I will say that the Oyster bracelet has a clasp that is more secure than any Jubilee clasp that I've seen.
