The new pearl design on the DSSD and subs...

They certainly stick out a lot more than the previous inserts. As a new DSSD owner I have to say that little pearl is a concern.

I just have these visions of knocking it against something and boom...it's gone. I would assume that Rolex has some serious design involved with making them very strong...(I HOPE)!

Am I just being overly scared? Has anyone who owns the DSSD, TT or Blue Sub experienced that little thing falling off?

I've seen those infamous pics of the cracked ceramic insert and the crazy pricing for a fix...I would hate to think about that happening to my prized DSSD.

Plus, I got my first few scratches today on my DSSD clasp...I know it's bound to happen but it's always painful to see them happen.
