Earth Has Broken

To quote Craig " we've finally broke the planet"
If it were not on the news, you guys would think I was making this up.
We were hit with the 14th storm of the year.
They expected the high winds yesterday, and predicted 2-5 cm of snow.
Well, on the way to work today, we had the 5 cm.
Took me 1.5 hours to drive 13 km
That was supposed to be the end of it.
BUT
at around noon, it started again.
I left work & drove for just under 2 hours. Parked my car and walked the last 3 km home ( In dress shoes)
By the time I got home there was around 33cm of snow ( 13 inches)
In Vancouver here, we usually get about 1 -2 inches per year. This is the second snow storm
Picture to follow later.
I have to wait till traffic clears, walk back & get my car

Hey john, as said via email, that really sucks but I didn't know you got hit that hard. So how bout you send some this way? We had -20 today with the windchill, and without snow, it seriously sucks.

You guys can't catch a break.

My parents, in Seattle, are just sick of the weather. Guess who is going to Hawaii for a few weeks pretty soon.

pffft in Melbourne, we have had mid 30s weather and alot of our natural bushland is now on fire and has been for the last few mths. Oh and we have stage 3 water restrictions... we are not allowed to wash a car by any means. If we go to stage 4 - that means no use of water outside whatsoever.

So no matter which side of the planet your on, the weather is crap it seems!

That really sucks John. First the rain storms in the fall and now this. Hopefully summer will make up for it.
