This listing is a mess! Either the watch is real and the poor thing listing it cannot write/spell (Romania location taken into account) or the watch photos are boot-legged and this is a *gasp* S C A M!!!

Several questions: 1) Are you the original owner? 2) Did you buy the watch from an authorized Rolex dealer and if so, which one? 3) Can you post additional images of the watch, such as the back, the clasp, etc., as well as the box and at least some of the certificate? I appreciate any and all assistance. Since you have 0 feedback, I will need to know you actually have the watch and that it is authentic Rolex. And, since you are not located in the US, it would be impossible to meet you at an authorized dealer to have the watch authenticated.

OK, my friends, here we have a situation.

I asked Roxana for a closeup of the clasp, and one of the dial with the time set at 10:20, and lo and behold, here they are. HOWEVER...when I downloaded the photos and right-clicked on the one of the dial set to the time I specified, and checked the photo's properties, I found the copyright belonging to Gables Watch (aka Gables Pawn & Jewelry) in Miami.

Upon visiting Gables' web site, I found a number of other watches photographed against the same background, but not this one. To further contribute to my confusion, the photo of the dial was taken yesterday, according to the properties.

Here are the photos she sent me this morning:

This photo's properties indicate the copyright belonging to "Gables Watch" and the photo taken yesterday:

This photo of the clasp has no information, such as copyright owner or date/time taken:

My guess, based on the fact that she produced a Gables Watch photo of the watch set to the specified time, is that she requested those photos from Gables as though she were interested in purchasing the watch. Either that, or she works for Gables, took the photos and posted as though she is from Romania. In any event, her name is Roxana Hender.

Please, my fellow sleuths, help me get to the bottom of this stinker!

I wonder what would happen if you asked for a photo of the watch on today's paper from her home town

bet that would reveal the real fungus

I'm only a few steps away from seeing LC hears about this one.

She e-mailed me promptly to make sure I received her photos, and apologized for taking so long to send me the two new images...said she's been really busy the last few days. Yes, apparently she has been busy - trying to rip people off!
