Read hang tag question
Hopefully a simple question. I have a couple of the red tags with holograms and noticed there seem to be two kinds. One has a big crown on the hologram, the other has a row of small crowns and two rows or Rolex writte repeatedly across the hologram? What's the difference? Did one go with an style of watch or was it a change in years?

well, i think it's a question of period.
actually i'am wondering the same question, as i want to restore a 16610 set. The thing i can tell is, as i own a 16520 from the early 90's, her tag is the one with the big crown... Hope anybody can help. For sure it's just a detail, but if you want to have real "vintage" set with the watch it matters. |

Hi again.
There's a picture on that post : http://www.network54.com/Forum/20767...40+accessories............. that could confirm that it's a matter of period, and also that the big crow is for older watches. |
