It is a nice watch and has to be the white dial, it makes it a good sports and a dress watch with this dial. I would like to have seen the new Explorer II with the maxi dial and the orange 24hour hand though.

White EXP unless your planning to the white Daytona? You can get a black Sub or GMT2.

Or better yet lets do this. White EXP, Black SD, TT Blue Sub and Pepsi GMT, Oh lets not forget the Platty YM.

Sorry I just spilled the dream I had last night...

Mark,

My preference is in this order:
  • black sans Cyclops,
  • white with,
  • black with, and
  • white without
I know you like the Cyclops so I would suggest white for you.

I love my black:

BTW, I may be over your way tomorrow or Saturday.

I think the white dial looks best but I'm not sure about the blackened hands.

My dream setup would be: new white Explorer II with the orange 24 hour hand, black sub, rootbeer gmt! Throw in a green or blue sub on top of that and I'll be more than happy.

The white for my taste. I have a black faced 16610LV with a black bezel insert so the white would be nice as a change. The white version has a very clean look to it and there are from my limited knowledge a couple of pure white Rolex faces (Daytona, Explorer II) whereas there is plenty of black faces to be had. Milgauss may have a white one too.

White!

Doesn't look right and you need to leave the black dial space available for a Sub or GMT...

The white really meshes well with the steel bezel, and really gives it a "polar" look.

So yes, my vote would be white.

WHITE!

I think it sets it apart from the other sport watches, and is change of pace from seeing my 16610.

Black dial you can get with another Rolex sport watch.

Mark, both are beautiful .... but if you already have a black dial watch, then I would get the white ..... just for a different look.

Thats why i got the white. I already have a sub and a GMTII so the white was a nice change. Having said that once i had it on my wrist i love the clean, crisp look of the white very much
