Something about that green crystal I find very appealing. If it had a date on it I would own one.

Some great photos guys

Sorry for my lack of posting the past few months, I have been so swamped I've actually worn the same watch since February

I love the GV also

Hope everyone is doing well, when my Haiti and Guatemala project is over I'll be back

I think both are great watches. The regular black dial, with all white markers and no numbers, has a certain simplicity to it that the GV doesn't have; the GV is remarkable and unique with its green crystal. I would not overlook the white dial either; it too is very nice. For me, the desirability ordering would be GV, white, black...but you can't go wrong with any of them!

I know you didn't include white but let's be fair here

I chose it since I already had some black dials. It's totally different than ANYTHING Rolex has in it's line up currently. JMHO.

Here is a white one

I have recently sold it. IMO it looks better in pictures then live. A little too plain for me. That said, the watch wears very well and keeps exceptional time. I have a GV on the way and I will see if it is a keeper.

The Milgauss is one of the few Rolex models that I have no desire to own.

GV is one of those once in a while watch that's going to be something else in 10-20 years.

I own a GV for two months until I sold it yesterday. Just can't find the wrist time compared to my GMT (which I'll be giving to my nephew on his Bday couple of months from now). Sad to say, it didn't grow on me...I might try the White Milgauss since I need a White dialed Rolex (along with an Explorer II).
