Question about my Rolex

Hello everyone, just curious if it is okay to wear my Rolex Explorer II outside when it is overcast? I am asking because tomorrow is Easter and my wife and I are going to hide eggs outside and it is supposed to be overcast. It will probably be early in the morning and would hate for condensation to get under the crystal. What about wearing it in fog?

PS, I am being sarcastic and fooling around with these questions. I have noticed alot of strange questions similar to these lately and felt like having a little fun.

I think you should let the egg hunters wear your watch while "exploring" for the eggs.

I would hate for the grass to cause scratches on the bracelet or crystal. I will probably just wear my Tag as I feel the constant moving and twisting could cause damage to the internals of my Rolex. I thought I read somewhere that you should always keep your wrist level and above waist level to prevent damage to the springs. Could be wrong though.

Not a problem at all..

Rinse it off afterward in clear, sanitized water; then send it off to the RSC and it will come back in a few weeks, good as new.........

Oh, and to answer your question, no you can't wear it during overcast conditions. Rolex is sunshine only.

UNLESS the sunshine causes you to sweat. That would ruin the watch.

A Rolex owner can't afford to sweat. I thought you knew that!

Im pretty sure I read somewhere that wearing it in overcast conditions causes the battery to run down faster than normal so I wouldn't take the chance if I were you!!!!

And no sudden movements as it is only a Rolex not a G-shock or the likes.

If you wear your Explorer II outside in any weather, it will invalidate the warranty held by Rolex in Geneva. Study the small print. The only exception to this rule are for models 11666o/116619/116758 SA and any models begining with the letter W on the clasp.
