No hangtags given on the time of purchase from AD
Is this normal ? Just curious if others may experience the same thing?

Should reallly ask for them. The red one is not an issue but the green would have model and serial numbers on therefore it is a "must-have" item.

Ask for them because it makes the set complete.

I really had a great experience buying from this AD. The service was excellent. No pressure, took my time, (was there twice) and even got a great discount! (15%)

Just remembered threads about the AD's keeping the links they take out of your bracelet... This AD took two links out of mine, but I did get the two links taken out with me.

bayerische: indeed, the green tag (with the barcode) was not in the box. Anyway, i might double check the box again and visit the AD again if necessary.
Thanks all for the replies.... this forum is very useful indeed. |

My AD wouldn't let me have the green tag.
Said they use it for inventory control. |

The AD took my green tag but gladly returned it when I asked a few days later.
If you look at any Rolex adverts, at most the red tag is pictured with the watch. Never seen the 'factory' green tag included. The boxes, booklets etc are specifically produced for the customer; the red tag if your watch is COSCed. But is the green tag really meant to be included? I'm not so sure. |

I didn't get the green hangtag either and I bought from AD. Doesn't matter though, the watch will stay with me for the rest of my life.

I believe ADs receive each watch from Rolex in their own transparent, hard plastic case. There's a bar code sticker on one side of the case and another that bears the watch's serial number (eg "V123456'').
These cases are pretty much the same size for most watches, except the Deepsea, whose case is much bigger. My AD gave me the cases for my Milgauss GV and Deepsea, on top of all the other stuff like hang tags, red seals and so on. |

My ad did the same, I went back the next day and got them, he said he didn't know that I wanted them. I may be that most people don't want them and we "Rolex freaks", want everything "rolex" that we can get our hands on!

OK I forgot one insignificant item.. but some sellers advertise that it also comes with that... it is the sheet of foam that goes in the plastic box (where the box closes).. a white sheet of foam (1-1.5mm thickness). and it has like a square in the middle for the watch.
-watch with plastic stickers -outer box -inner box -watch holder -booklets (3 most of the time) -red hangtag -green hangtag -bezel protector -warranty holder -warranty card -cleaning cloth with rivetted sides -Sheet of foam to protect the plastic box when it closes.
