Daytona SS question

I purchased a new Rolex Daytona this week and synchronized the time with my Tag Heuer and my Timex Expedition. After a few days I checked them and the $35 Timex was right on the money, the Tag gained a second and my new Rolex Daytona gained 7 seconds.
Is gaining 7 seconds over a 2-3 days acceptable for this watch or should I have it looked at ?

Welcome to the world of Rolex and yes 7 seconds fast in 2 to 3 days is bang on for your daytona. Timex I would expect is runs bang on and you tag that runs well is it a quartz or mech.

-4 to +6 seconds per day is within specs.

If your rolex is within +/-5 seconds per day you are good...

Sounds fine to me... you can always have the Daytona regulated if you wish.

How long have you had the Daytona

If it's brand new, give it about a month of wearing.

Congrats BTW
