Got this one on a loaner, need help.

Local jewler that I have bought previous watches from let me take this one home for a few days. I would really love to keep it but that would mean the 14060m COSC would have to go. One thing i have noticed is the lume on this watch is not there except for the hands and second hand. Its a bright green but nothing on the hour markers. The pearl lights up also.

VERY hard to get a decent photo in my house.

Very nice 16613. My guess is that it has tritium indices while the hands are luminova and were a recent replacement. It looks nice, but down the road, the indices will fade to a nicer shade of yellow while the hands will remain bright white.

I would keep the 14060 in case you were entertaining thoughts on a trade.

What did you need help on?

But it looks like it has SEL... will a SEL have tritium???
OP Take a couple of better pictures and post them... full dial image and a full watch front and back... also at the clasp to see if it has gold through the clasp or it is just stainless steel.

Ill take some better photos tommorow., but the clasp does have the gold clasp. serial is k7814** bracelet is maked on clasp93253 and DT3(very hard to read).
Has something marked at the end of the braclet on the gold. I can make out the crown and a series of numbers then another crown. I believe theay are solid end links.

a bright light should lite up the dial as well as the hands........ all should be luminova..

The photo is poor......... if the watch is authentic, then 4k is a good price...

Agree with Larry and a K date letter from 2001/2 has got to be Luminova.

Was the dial replaced? Thought this vintage sub had Luminova, hard for me to see, but dial appears to have Swiss-T for tritium designation?

I have no reason to doubt the watch is authentic, Im just puzzled as to why the hands and the pearl have a really nice lume at night but the hour markers have none.

end link

Clasp (which would date the band to the third quarter 2002)

More shots of the hands outside in the light.

The hands & insert were replaced during a service with super luminova. The dial was kept the same, that is what they are brighter.

The DT clasp code matched the K serial but the T<25 on the dial does not. This was should have a "swiss made" dial from new.

what is the difference between a watch that says Swiss T25 compared to "Swiss Made" near the 6 o'clock position?

for 4k its not a bad deal. Was the movement serviced or just a dial/hands/insert replacement?
Do YOU like the watch?

The reciept said " Clean, oil, and adjust movement. Replace all seals, and pressure test. Refinish case and band." Total was $278. Was done at Zimbals in Clearwater Fl.

Give it back, quick! Just wear something else from your collection! You've got a 14060m you love, right? IMHO, your jeweler is both kind and smart who knows that once you wear the loaner for 3 days you will miss it when it's off your wrist. He has probably been sitting on this for a while, and is just trying to move it.

That's not the correct dial for a K serial. I wonder if it was converted from black to blue with an older dial?

If your question is: should I trade my 14060m? I would say absolutely not. Good luck either way.
