Might have another incoming...
Yeap, I might have another incoming but I haven't decided what to get yet. What do you guys think would be a good choice to add to my collection? I value all your opinions from TRF and it would be a great help to me in building up my collection. My current favourite line would include the SS sports line, TT sports line and the SS or WG Daytona line.

hey my fellow singaporean,
from the pictures of your new TT Sub, i can see that you purchased it from Lee Chay. i also got my Deepsea there last august. i was served by a matronly lady there. can't really remember her name. mrs sim or something? anyway her service was really good and i got a good price for the Deepsea! were you also served by her? oh yes, you might want to consider the Deepsea for your next purchase... |

teehan thanks for your opinion but at this point in time deepsea will be out for me due to it's size and I don't think I'll be able to carry it off.
Btw, did you know that Lee Chay is the first Official Authorized Rolex Dealer in Singapore and have been in business for 50-60 years thereabouts? Their outlet at Peninsular has been in business for 29 years before shifting in from Adelphi or so I was told by one of their sales staff. The reason I patronize them is because of their matured, warm and friendly staff. Makes me feel comfortable. Glad you share the similar experience.

really? cool... by the way, since aug 2009, rolex singapore has decreed that the 4 main players (Hour Glass, Dickson, Sincere & Cortina) are to adhere strictly to the selling prices as dictated by rolex.
they are not to sell (especially the popular SS professional models) at their own prices. before this rather unpopular decree, i used to get my rolexes from Dickson (who was not considered a big 4 at that time). when i wanted to get my Deepsea last august, Dickson quoted me more than SGD12000. i turned them down, though they were my regular AD. went over to Lee Chay and was quoted SGD11400. didn't take long for me to hand over the money. hahaha!!! like you, i also have a white Explorer II. paid SGD7000 at Lee Chay too... |
