Another 16610 random serial # (rs#) sighting!
I visited a Michigan Rolex AD to pick up a pre-owned Panerai they were holding for me. In the show case, I spotted a new 16610. I asked the saleman who generally is really is on top of things and he told me he thought it was a V serial number.
I asked to see it and it was, in fact, a rs# 16610, the second one I have seen on display in the past week. It appears a few of these are still in the distribution pipeline as they were both received by the ADs in the past 2 weeks. Unfortunately my offer of $4800 (20% off the list price of $6K) was declined. |

They are out there and they are being delivered daily to various AD's. If you want one, it should not be to hard to track one down.

Good sighting...
Personally, in the US, I have never seen 20% off on a Sub at an AD...even good Grey Dealers are only 5 to 10%..
