You all are a bad influence!
Yup, this forum is a bad influence. I just got my GMTIIc a week ago and I'm already thinking of a 2nd Rolex. The problem is that I'm starting to really like the looks of a two-tone SS/YG GMTIIC or Sub. I just worry that it may be a bit too 'flashy' at work and cause some unwanted attention. I'll do my best to restrain myself and stick with the GMT but you all are really bad at helping me stick with just one :)

I wear SS daytona (low bling) at work because it is not eye catching for others except myself. I wear Sub in the evening and outdoors.

Make no mistake...It only gets worse. Let me enlighten you a bit here.... I officially joined on March 10...of this year. (Though I lurked for several months before that...still doesn't excuse it) I am almost to 1000 posts... akk! Unfortunately for me and those subjected to them... my posts are in no way substantial enough to be illuminating to anyone in the watch world.... Joining this forum has exposed me to some great people who are not only good hearted but extremely talented and knowledgeable as well. That only feeds my hobby/habit/obsession Be glad you only have one or two others you are contemplating... I assure you it could be worse....your wife could get on TRF as well. That is what happened to my husband. Now here is the list of watches I would like own: 1. DJ "Special Edition" WG, pave diamond bezel, black mother-of-pearl diamond dial (ref 81339/72849) Grail 2. 31mm (Lady) DJ, SS/RG, domed bezel set with 24 diamonds, chocolate dial with Roman numerals, and gem-set Roman numeral at 6 o'clock (ref 178341/72161) 3. 35mm TT YM, mother-of-pearl dial set with 8 round, 1 rectangular, and 2 baguette rubies (ref 168623/78753) 4. 29mm (Lady) YM SS/Plat (ref 169622/78730) 5. Rolex Daytona WG Meteorite Dial (ref 116519) The one "mens" Rolex watch that I want. Hey-it may be an addiction that feels slightly out of control... but at least you aren't alone!

I'm apparently a slow learner but quick on the uptake for the interest in Rolex.
If left to my own devices I'd probalby get a SS Daytonaa white face, a TT GMTIIc, a DSSD, and the upcoming orange hand EXP II. SO maybe I do have more than 2 to choose from. |

My evil plan is working
But seriously if you want to enjoy watches more variety is the spice.

Since you already have a GMT, go for a 18k/SS black 16613 Submariner. I'm the other away around. I want to get a GMT. I can't win...must get another Rolex...
