, It's not very good to identify your car or house as a watch dealer or Diamond dealer...for safety reasons...For TRF is not a problem but in your city I wouldn't...That is IMO
But Nice car Greg

Nice plate but not advisable to post it here. Privacy matters a lot IMHO

I have to say that Even though greg seems fine with it I do not think it a great idea on an open forum to be publishing things like that.
He deals in high value things and who knows what nut case is out there thinking he may have thousands of bucks worth of merchandise in his trunk when he is out driving with his family. Sorry I know it sounds like paranoia but I would be not be a happy bunny if someone had done that to me! |

I hope someone tries to steal from Greg... I'm sure he'll post up the trip report of when someone attempted to and what happened to them lol .....
Anyway.. I was gonna take it down but the forum wont let me edit it... so if the mods really feel this is an issue even though Greg posted in the thread then by all means remove it... |

Not a great idea. I'd be very upset if that were my plates.

From what I found out about the vehicle: "The Jaguar XF has seen world wide recognition since its September unveiling, picking up 12 prestigious international awards. Jaguar’s Chairman of Judges George Emerson commented: “The Jaguar C-XF won the Editor’s Award in last year’s Fleet World Honours largely on the strength of its appearance – a quite stunning car to look at. With XF, when you get inside the cabin and feel the quality, then drive it on the open road you realise that the company has delivered on its promise. It is an exceptional car that turns heads like no other in its class.” The Jaguar XF was also a recipient of the “Car of the Year” award presented by What Diesel Magazine as well as Top Gear’s “Limo of the Year” award. Check Out the Jaguar XF in action!"

He does drive around in public already with the vanity plate. I think Greg already made his choice to be open about it, and park it in front of his watch shop.
As long as Greg is good with it, I guess it's fine. No real secret is all I'm pointing out. If it wasn't a vanity, and it had a picture of his car parked near his mailbox, that would be different. But then again, you can't be too safe these days. |

He's been open about his name, his business, you have his website and contact info... If somebody really wanted to find him I'm sure they would have no problem to be honest... his business address is on his website they could just follow him home....?

Paul (ParisDakarBMW) - Ohio went to a coded system (numbers and colors), so oddly - that registration is good through May 2012.
I appreciate your guys concerns about the safety - Thank You - you're all like family to me. Danny didn't mean anything bad by this - besides, I do sort of 'flaunt' my hobby. It would really be pointless for anyone to try anything funny because a) they would end up with nothing because of the way things are structured and b) most likely be severely harmed themselves (all I can say per forum rules). Bill (Hart) - nice XK, man! Those things are timeless. BTW - have you tried Jaguarforums.com? Cool place for nuts like us... Titan - first - AWESOME handle, second - thanks for sharing the knowledge!
