My new GMT IIc, with pics 4 u all :)

...I really enjoy the upgrades, from the earlier series. Mostly the new solid clasp (with built-in ½ link extension) and TripLock crown, but also the little things as the tight smooth clicking of the ceramic bezel, and the anti glare coating beneath the cyclops...

Here's a few pics:

...looking forward to seeing the Sub when it hits the AD's

Congrats and nice pics! I love the last one with the water splash. This is my grail piece. There is just so much about it that screams quality. I used to think a 16710 with a black insert was pretty sharp looking, but with all of the upgrades to fit, function and finish, not to mention the 3186 masterpiece beneath the hood, the GMTIIc really is one of the best bang for the buck Rollies out there, hands down.

I've seen some great deals come and go on the for sale section but I keep chickening out. Maybe I need to just bit the bullet and pick one up.

Enjoy it!

great pics...

From a legibility standpoint, how does the new dial compare with the old one?

I would say that the during the daytime the maxidial is about the same, but at night the lume is more powerful, making it instantly more readable.
The green hand is less noticeable than the previous red one, which helps keep the dial less busy...
