Rolex Equitette - Where to wear your watch?

Hello,
Thank you so much for your comments on chivarly and wearing your Rolex.

I think the following is true:-
1) Rolex Sports watch - can be worn with tie BUT DEFINATELY NOT A SUIT.
2) James Bond wore an Explorer 1 in the novels. The sub/gmt is not an acceptable suit accessory. The movie industry is lacking in class - hence the reason 007 wore an Omega.... he also wore a Seiko when the $BUCKS$ were that way inclined. Please ignore 007 with a 5508 sub (albeit accept it as it is a non-crown guard model of sports watch).

I think the following can be used as a guide:-
1) Suit occassions - wear a dress watch - Patek, Cellini, Day-Date, Date-Just.
2) Work place - any steel datejust, date, "light sports watch" eg. Air-Kind, Explorer 1
3) Economy Air Travel - Steel GMT / Explorer II
4) Business Class Air Travel - TT GMT, TT DJ,
5) First Class Air Travel - any 18K Gold piece or above
6) Firing staff - Steel or white Gold pieces only
7) Job interview - Patek or any discrete piece

Disagree 100%. Rolex sports watch can be worn with anything! SS Sub, SS GMT IIc, and SS Daytona all look AMAZING with a suit!

Imagine that, I've just learned that I've been flying wrong all my life, (except when upgraded to first class).

I think you are going to hear a bit of backlash for this post--as so eloquently stated by Dr. Bypass--Rubbish indeed!

Of course not, wouldn't be prudent.

Please excuse me capital letters: WHY ARE YOU BEATING A DEAD HORSE?

You already posted this and just about everybody on the forum disagreed and called it rubbish, why do you think you'll have better luck three hours later? Anyway, black dial SS watches can easily go with a suit in today's fashion. Get with the times, and stop criticizing peoples choices in fashion.

EDIT: Your opinions on the whole different sections on the airplane basically just sums up that fact that your opinion is that your watch reflects your financial state. This is completely untrue, and I know several extremely wealthy individuals who wear Timex with their Armani suits, and fly economy. Believe me, your standards aren't reflective of the real world at all.

Normally I stay away from bad posting...But this is just CRAP!!!

From your posting style,it appears you actually believe your ABOVE all us Rolex owners......(Or any other watch owner in general)

I try to not say anything rude here as I believe we need to chill and respect others....But this is poor, distastefull and down right rude and insulting!!!

I'm still just shaking my head with disbelief that you posted such BS.......

I'd rather fly in the back of the plane than sit up front with someone's nose as high as yours!!

And yes,I'd wear SS with a suit and gold with Jeans, sandals and a T....At least I'm down to earth and happy!!

To add to that,In my avatar,Im wearing my TT GMTIIc on the beach with jean shorts and button up shirt + no shoes...Is that OK???
