Hublot or IWC

Simple question. All things being equal, which would you choose?

IWC makes some good looking watches, but so does Hublot

I like the IWC 3717 with the black dial & red second hand, metal link

One thing I'm wondering, and I'm NOT big on flipping watches, but I know first hand that IWC does not hold it's value well.

HUBLOT! Creative company and CEO is a very forward thinking and disruptive (in a good way) artist. Hublot should hold its value better too.

My choices are between these two...

The Hublot retails for $7300 and I can get it for $3595 +tax. The IWC retails for $4400 and I can get it for 3080 w/ no tax.

Mark, I generally prefer the aesthetics of IWC to Hublot. However, given the choices you presented (and the fact that the blue Hublot looks very nice), I would go with the Hublot.

I've seen the IWC in the flesh and it's gorgeous. I haven't seen the Hublot, but from past experience, the colors on their dials are very vibrant!

Yes, yes I am! But it may be a while before a new Daytona comes my way from MY source, so I figure I have some time to play... May be a BAD decision I know...

The IWC sings to me more than the Hublot. But I think you can't go wrong with either!

IWC....that's only b/c I am not a fan of Hublots....I think Hublots tend to be a bit of a cliché.

That being said, there are other IWC's I prefer to the one you've presented. Seems like you're getting great deals either way....If you're also ecstatic about either watch, great, but, if it's b/c of the deal, I wouldn't pick up either.

Mark, are you being impulsive over the two watches.....especially if you like the Daytona? If so stop and think that that money is a good sound base for the needed funds for the Daytona.....

No, not really, I like both of these a lot! Besides, I'm sure it will be a while until a Daytona is available from my favorite source...
