How do you open a Parcel Pro delivery?

This is Parcel Pro's policy.

"Coverage for a Parcel Pro, Inc. confirmed shipment ends when delivery is made. Delivery is when a package is signed for at the delivery location, or if a residence, when left at the residential location. Delivery information is based on information provided by carrier."

What happens if you sign for a parcel. Then open it and find no watch? The above says the coverage ended when you signed for it. The shipping co could have opened the box when it was in transit; removed the watch and resealed it....or somebody could have sent you an empty box.

Can you open it before you sign for it, in front of the driver?

What do you guys do?

I am getting a pricey delivery tomorrow, and am starting to worry already :)

I just want to make sure I do everything correctly so I am protected.

Thanks in advance!!

Take a read of all this if you want to be paranoid about shipping watches :)

Just sign but put parcel not opened and checked.

What I think you're fearful of is that the seller would deceive you. If so - why did you buy from him/her to begin with? You should ALWAYS be able to trust your seller, IMO.

No...more worried about a courier employee opening the box and removing the watch, and then resealing the box.....then the seller not believing me when i say i received an empty box.......i hope the chances of this are low, but i want to be as carefull as i can.

No - won't happen with PP packages. I use them and getting into one of the parcels is a homework assignment. Plus - if sealed properly, one will be able to tell that it has been opened. Don't worry, but if you do - follow Sink's advice. Just be awake in time to open the door for the delivery man.

In Canada you can only use FedEx. Like they want u to use UPS in the US. PP doesn't supply boxes....it will be a fedex or your own box.

Yes - but double-boxed. Trust me, you'll see. Meanwhile - Tylenol PM I-V and you'll be fine.

here is what a friend of mine suggested when using PP:

"write something directly on the inner and outer boxes; and tell
the receiving party, so the boxes can't be replaced by the bad guys"

bests,

oh and the box looked untouched, but i still wrote "parcel not opened and checked" then i signed it....all was well on opening it :)

Better to be safe though.

I'd still like to no what would happen if you did open it and find it missing....would they cover you, because it says your covered till you sign....plus if nobody witnessed you opening it....you have no proof. I videoed me opening it....yes i'm a worrier ;)
But it only took a few minutes....and you never no....could have helped me if something bad had happened.
