TT SUB C Bracelet Stamps.. Is this common !?

ROLEX changes a little bit some of its traditions !.. I don't know if this makes you comfortable or not ?
Well I will focus on TT SUB's : My old TT SUB had on its clasp a stamp showing 18K (Which means that the center links are made of 18 Karat Gold.).. OK this was a clear and comfortable indication of what the ROLEX is made of..
My new TT SUB C bought from France, doesn't indicate this stamp (18K) !! I really don't know why ?.. I have (2) small stamps on the Case Center Gold link on both sides (6 and 12) sides.. One stamp shows (OR) which means (GOLD) in French and the other shows (The ROLEX CROWN LOGO S.A.).. But nothing indicates if it's made of 14K or 18K...

It's really puzzeling because a freind of mine has just got a new TT GMT II C from ROLEX GREECE and it has (no stamps) on its bracelet !! .. ((..Yes It is an Authentic Rolex)).

My question is : Are those stamps common ? Or depending on the market or Dealers how ask to Stamp / or not Stamp there batch of Rolex's ?

...This really needs explanation...Thanks.

In many countries the UK for one you cannot call anything gold unless its all solid gold. Now for watches of mixed metals they are not normally hallmaked Rolex uses the terms for gold and steel Rolesor. And the YM S.Steel and Platinum the term Rolesium but if I remember the dial is stamped on back 950.

Wherever Rolex ships (distributes) their watches, hallmarks must meet the laws of the various countries..

Precious metal and content is marked differently around the world........
