Rolex Submariner Serial 16233, time period?

Can anyone let me know when submariner serial number 16233 date from?
I would very much appreciate it...and how much you might think its worth it? its in "good" shape. but no box or papers.

I guess you are looking at a fake one as there is no such serial let alone on a Sub. We have seen several certificates showing 16233 where the serial number goes which is actually a model number for a TT Date Just .
Pictures and send it to watch out section !

That's not a valid serial number..

You need at least one more number for it to be in the 1954 to '65 era, and 2 more numbers for it to be after that..

i tried to loaded up the photo here but i dont know how to do it...sorry but back of the watch has hologram sticker with that 16223 number on it. and its DLC coating; black on it too.

16233 is the model number not a serial number. And yes even with the hologram it could be a fake check the stem if when open you see a small rubber seal then its real if no seal its a fake the 3 dots under the crown on the stem signifies triple seal if the watch is the fake i believe it is is a really good one and unless you know what too look for its hard too tell.


ALL Submariner model 16233 will have the triplock seal its what gives it the 300 meter ability its the divers watch made by Rolex and is the ultimate for divers.
