Rolex New Sub Ceramic price premium

When the new Sub Ceramic comes out, I'm sure people who are selling will be asking a premium price for it. What do you guys think the premium people will be asking for this new special piece?

If there will be one...I think it will be short lived. Not everyone likes the new design, the Hulk will, IMO, only appeal to a few folks...and lets be honest...the economy still isn't on firm footing yet.

Little to no premium is my guess.

As much as people will pay to be honest - any premiums will last no longer than 6 months in my opinion.

Hi John, how's it going? I think it's going to be a little difficult to get hold of the new Subs whilst there are waiting lists, may take a few months after the first ones arriving into ADs for them to appear in windows

Let's get real - Rolex will be delivering a sizable quantity to their retailers. After all, this is an update to one of the biggest selling models. For near $7000+, I don't see there being a line out the door.

No premium.

Well, it won't be any more than one a month - if you have three or four takers on the waiting list, it'll still be quite some time til they reach windows. I reckon a good dealer will be getting around 10 a year

Anyone remember what happened when GMTiic came it 4 yrs back? I think it will be same with Subc. The initial craze will not last longer than couple of months. If many people are like me they will wait and buy after the initial hype..in my opinion. Premium sure for the first few months because the ADs will not get more than 2-3 at a time.

Rolex New Sub Ceramic price premium

If you're willing to wait, you will not have to pay a premium. I purchased a GMT-IIC from my AD last Summer at a discount. I would guess that by next Spring (2011) the premiums will have passed and the AD's will be looking to deal. ( I say next Spring because of the Christmas bounce).
