This one again, and loving it. I'll be putting the pepsi bezel on Tuesday when I can get to the AD next week.

This one will be back on my wrist today:
I had added a Preik display back but it failed pressure testing. My watchmaker determined that the diameter of the Preik back was .5mm larger which prevented proper sealing. I notified Thomas but received no response so my watchmaker machined the back down to fit properly. I will be picking it up this morning. So caution: If you install a Preik back (or any back for that matter), have the watch pressure tested. For those of you not familiar with the Omega Seamaster Professionals, this is how this watch originally looked when it arrived new in December 2007: Since then I have added the applied-marker dial and WG bezel from a model briefly marketed by Omega around 2003 and known as the "non-America's Cup". Recently the second hand from a 42mm Planet Ocean was added. The display back is the final mod. Fr. John† |
