For the past 5 days I couldn't get to TRF ...

and I discovered the 'TURF' forum (I know redundant with the 'F's). TURF seems to be a poor copy of this forum and I wondered if anyone knows about it. Perhaps the moderators could comment on this (via private messages if they want to delete this post).

Thanks,

Jonathan Bar-on

A lot of the members here were former TURF members, for some it might be rubbing salt on a old wound.

I've had the same problem. Poked around a little and found something interesting on "boardreader", I guess they track websites. Anyway the user graph for TRF showed a pretty steady number until about May 18Th. The user count all of a sudden spiked up, then went to zero in the matter of hours. Not sure what that means but it looks like no one could get on. Glad it's back, I was panicking a little there.

Hmmmmm...I wonder if it was one of those "denial of service" attacks?

Just read another thread here...turns out it was a denial of service attack on the server hosting this site...
