Icon7 HELP needed sub 14060 clasp

Hi, I adjusted my 14060 clasp today for the first time and now the extention doesn't lock back into place. I have read that this is right for this watch with this type of bracelet and that it is different from the 16610 clasp. Could someone just confirm this is right so I can stop worrying that I have done something wrong. All I did was move the pin one hole....

Hello!

Depending on which hole you moved the springbar to, you may or may not have an issue. Could I trouble you for a pic of the current springbar locations? Perhaps someone can help after seeing the issue.

Cheers!

There are two sets of 4 holes in the clasp. The set on the right is for the springbars, the set on the left is where the extension hinge rivet snaps into place. The rest of the bracelet will then dangle from this hingepin and does not lock in like the Sub Date bracelet:

Thank you, so I assume my watch is perfectly OK. I think other people who have told me it should snap back in maybe thinking of the date sub, do you agree?

Am I right in thinking then that the clasp can be adjusted from either side by moving the spring bar (which I have done by one hole) and the extension hinge?
I really appreciate all your advice

Correct....The 14060 extension link does NOT snap back into the clasp like 16610!!
