Valentine's Day FEB 14th
Here in the USA Valentine's Day is the most common date for breaking up. It is also one for commitment or re-commitment.
No doubt we all have ideas for presents to our partners. Some of us, like me, have no real idea. After a ten year relationship went sour I find myself in the dating scene again. So if anyone has ideas other than candy or flowers, I am sure we can all benefit from your great thinking! |

Traditionally, we've gone to London for Valentine's Day because it usually coincides with President's Day weekend. So we've made a long weekend out of it.
This year, though, on Valentine's Day we'll be winging our way in the other direction to the land of OZ.

I got a telescope one year from my DH. The box was about the size of a dozen long-stem roses and when I picked it up to open it I said "these are really heavy roses!!"
I did enjoy the telescope anyway! |

I made a book, kind of like a scrapbook i guess...with a lot of pictures and things that bring back memories, and then wrote a little phrase about each one and how much my wife means blah blah blah...plus there is always the obligatory candy/flowers/dinner we don't go overboard for V-day
