Wolf winder question
got a wolf 2.7 winder today. fairly nice piece, but i'm concerned about the potential for the watch "cushion" holder to stretch the bracelet since it seems snug. but i recall the watches sit pretty snug in AD display case holders so wondering if this is a legit concern. anyone suggest a better alternative? ty

IMO the cushion won't harm the bracelet. What actually causes the stretching is the wear on the pins from friction, and not pressure from a foam padding or your wrist.
FWIW, I had the same concern with my Orbita and called them to ask about it. They sent me smaller pads, but assured me the larger ones won't hurt the watch. Maybe you can ask Wolf for smaller pads. Hope this helps.

I have a wolf winder and don't have a problem with bracelet strech, though I find with the heavier watches like my DSSD or PAMs that they sometimes with the cushion fall out of the socket which is a little irritating...

I guess the 2.7 doesn't come with 2 sizes of cuffs? I know that the modular 4.0 winders come with 2 sizes of cuffs to accommodate smaller or larger wrists, but they aren't the snug fit cuffs that connects into the drum the prevents heavy watches from falling out.

my module 3.0s came with 2 size pads. so i use the appropriate ones as i have a relatively small wrist at 7 3/8 or so. but i have had all the rolexes and a couple tag's on the winders in the safe for few years now, with no issue or noticeable stretch (even to my 16014 jubilee bracelet). so i would not worry too much about the foam bending the metal over time.

A fabric cushion can NOT stretch Satinless Steel or Gold There are numerous threads on this issue, do an advanced search. You will be perfectly fine using the winder.
In order to put my watches on the winder cushion, I latch the band and slide it over the cushion as opposed to closing it on the cushion, give this a try and see if it is any easier... I have a Wolf too
