What do you do in your Rolex?

I swim in fresh water, salt water, fish, work, play, sweat, workout in my sub LV, what about you. Mine is a daily wearer. After all, I did pay a butt load of money for it, might as well wear it.

Everything but weight training--the band cuts my wrist, and Krav Maga--no metal allowed at all!

Well, I painted a room with my sub on. Had little dots of paint all over it. Guess what. They washed off with water. Yes I got it wet.

Everything...but I am a bit selective about which watch is approved for certain duties....i.e. no cycling or garage work wearing my DD....but I'll mow the lawn wearing it (petrol mower)....now I seem to wear a "4-hand" watch for work and other travelling......but I wear a Rolex for everything...I also sleep and shower with my watch on.....so unless someone official (rarely, but at offshore check-in's sometimes) requests that I take off my watch I wear one 24/7

I will add to that, my wife does exactly the same......

Absoltely everything...Golfing, Swimming (pool & sea), Karting, Motor cycling...actually a few years back had a bike accident & totaled my HD Roadking, was in hospital, went through surgery, had plates inserted & about three days latter looked down at my watch in absolute panic, so much going on I had not checked it over, was the face cracked any scrapes etc etc & thankfully not a mark. Whatever about titanium plates in the body, a scratch on the explorer would be just plain annoying!

I have to tell you that I go-karted once in an 18kt Datejust. After one of the heats a steward approached me in the pit, waving something gold-coloured and shouting "Mate, this came off while you were racing..."

It had been run over by another kart and was in pretty bad shape. A number of people still thought it was amusing that evening to ask me if I had the time
