1000th post : Rolex and the baby....
Well, I got to see my miracle grandson last week. Here is Dylan Marc's first photo with a Rolex. It is my 116718 GMT IIc.
My daughter spent more time in the hospital when she was pregnant than out. The baby was born 3 months premo. Dylan is 1 & 1/2 months old in photo below. Baby & parents are doing great! So what kind of Rolex watch should I buy him for his 21st birthday? Any ideas? Maybe the new sub will be out by then!! Thx TRF & all the great members. Sincerely, Mike |

The grandson is beyond cool, but you can't wear a solid gold Rolex with a Harley Davidson dead skull shirt after Memorial Day. It's a fashion "no-no".

Congrats on your new grandson and 1k post!
I think it would be awsome for Dylan to get your GMT that you are wearing in the photo for his 21st birthday. (along with the picture with you holding him wearing the same watch!) I am on the hunt for my grandfathers watch (not Rolex, but it doesnt matter) that he was wearing in a photo while holding me as a newborn!

Congrats Mike and family! I say when his 21st rolls around you just hand off your 116718 to him, consider it the heirloom passage into Rolex addiction! What an entry that would be for him! Totally awesome but I am unsure of the Harley shirt |

Congrats, Mike. I'm sure the little fella will grow up strong and big like his grandpa who is so lovingly and caringly holding him in his arms!!
The best thing you can do is give him that very watch that's on your wrist when he turns 21!!

What a wonderful picture! It is fantastic how well children are taken care of when the birth is premature. My oldest came a month too early, so seeing those small feet reminds me of her in a very positive way.
Nice Rolex too, and shirt ;-) You should give him (and his mother too) an Explorer! Best, A |

That's fantastic news man
Cool HD shirt too I'd suggest you get the little guy a SS GMT, he can then wear that until he is about your age when he can get himself a YG GMT
