Oil and Rolex
Is there any harm that oil can cause to a Rolex. Our beautiful beaches are being hit by the worst ecological disaster in history by BP. Photo below from the local newspaper.
Thx, Mike |

Today I got a new watch I will have on my work. First day was not so good, I have to dive in a oil drum after a tool. I believe it will run a little bit fast now. I suppose I have to clean it. So I have to put it at a piece of wood. I have to make sure it will not fell off when I clean it. So here is the solution. Now I´m pretty sure it will works. So I pull out my genuine watch case cleaner. And there we go. Damn it´s dirty, I have to go a little closer. Now it looks real good, or what?. Then I have to fix the clasp. A little grinding. Then some welding. This one was thin, so I have made a little bigger hole at the clasp. But now it´s fixed. Then some grinding again. And the fine works is done. Now I have to find my Cape Cod to do the final work and it will be close to orginal.
