Hello all,

I'd like to pick up a basic tool kit so I can remove / add links, adjust my bracelet and take it on and off.

I have no desire to open the watch basically I just need something for all the possible bracelet adjustments.

Can anyone recommend one / possibly post a link to where I can find one?

Does any one have one for sale possibly?

Brandon:

You just need a good screwdriver and a good sprinrbar tool. There is a thread in the reference library which shows the tools needed.

You can get all the tools at ottofrei. Their shipping to Canada isn't cheap, but you could try making a phone order and asking for them to mail rather than courier.

I could have sworn I've seen Oscar (bodybump) sell a watch where he threw in a tool kit. Maybe PM him and ask if he still has some lying around.

I don't think you can order from Amazon.com in Canada, just Amazon.ca, which the last time I looked only had books.

Acetone, or nail polish removal, is great for softening bracelet screws.

I have always gotten by with a decent screwdriver set. Never required the spring bar tool. I use a smaller 1 mm screwdriver and the pinch technique posted by Larry (Tools) "Jockes Bracelet Removal Tutorial.." to remove the bracelet. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=44158. Quoting Larry, "I think we have too many....Probably only a decent screwdriver and a toothpick for this job."
