My first Rolex (JJ and David SW, I gotta give it you both)

I knew very little of Rolex and I'm still learning but I would like to thank everyone of the Forum for educating me about this brand. All I knew was that I wanted one!

My choice Rolex is a Submariner. It is a watch icon in itself, is worn by several of my heroes (fictional and real), and the date feature with the cyclops is needed on a Sub just like the tri-star is needed on a Mercedes.

I’m glad that this site exists, and that sellers like David SW can help others like myself obtain their dream timepieces.

I would also like to thank JJ for acting as a resource for my decision. JJ, you da man and very wise indeed!

Victor, thank you for your insight into the Sub, this is the perfect Rolex model for me and I'm glad to be apart of the Sub Date Club.

Better pictures to come later. Thanks TRF!

JJ helped me during my decision making process and has even offered advice while I'm in waiting for delivery!

I purchased through David and all I can say is he is a great guy! I can;t wait for my watch to arrive - congrats on your fine acquisition!!

Thanks everyone! I', sorry for the blurry pictures! LOL

I think my next watch would be a Patek Phillipe Calatrava. In the meanwhile, save those pennies.
