Baby boy name poll
We're really stuck on the name for Ileana's brother!
(http://hearnames.com/name-categories/search/ileana.html) I would appreciate you guys' and gals' opinion... We're a mixed family, and raise our kid(s) in multiple languages, so it's important to find a name that sounds similar, and cool in all languages! Since we have such a diverse group of people here, I would really appreciate if you could give your honest opinion on these names, and if any of them sounds strange or offensive in your native language I need to know! Thanks so much for your help!!

I can't decide between
Rafael Enrique Ricardo But it would definately be one of those three, a major criteria for me is how they shorten. Rafael, Raf, Rafa, Rafe....... Enrique, Rique, Rico..............Maybe. Ricardo, Rico, Rick,............Not sure. |

Marcos.
IMO a childs name is a gift he has to live with for 100 years and share with everyone he meets. I chose Marcos because it is unique but not so unusual that he will be pronouncing it or spelling it out to every person he crosses paths with in his own, grown up life. My son's name is Ethan and he is forever having to spell it or correct other's spelling of it. Also Marcos (like Rolex) can be easily pronounced by anyone in any culture.

Son, this world is rough And if a man's gonna make it, he's gotta be tough And I knew I wouldn't be there to help ya along. So I give ya that name and I said goodbye I knew you'd have to get tough or die And it's the name that helped to make you strong

We're going through the same thing. My son will arrive this October. My father was a Jr and despised it. He always said everyone in entitled to their own name. I've always thought a nice standard name for a first name is nice, then for a middle name something a little different, possible his mothers maiden name or a last name of an ancestor. Nothing cute or trendy, Remember he will have to put up with this name forever. JMHO.

I voted for Sebastian, Basti.
Maybe you can call him Joaquin Jorge. His nickname can be JJ! Congratulations, Mireyna!

Just have to convince the hubby of that one! If he doesn't agree, it'll be one of the other 6! Thanks everyone so far for your opinions!! I'm impressed with the replies, and can't wait to see more!! BTW, we're not doing a middle name, and I don't like nicknames but I appreciate you guys pointing them out! Our last name is very Spanish.
