Some wonderful news
Some of you may remember that I was able to get a battered 1680 from an Argentinian guy living in Spain . It turned out that it was in fact originally a Red Submariner that unfortunately had it's dial changed (by coincidentally my AD in Girona ) to a standard replacement white dial .
Now , he had told me that he had the original box and papers of this watch back home in Argentina and would ask his family to dig it up . Well , I just found out that not only they found the box and the papers , but it seems that it has a little plastic bag with the "lume less" original red dial wrapped in some silk paper in that box along with a link . BINGO !!!! |

Grand Slam! Congrats!
If it's the red dial, are you going to leave it original, and not glowing? Please tell me your leaving it alone. When you say lume less do you mean "No lume material left on the dial due to removal" or the "lume is still there but doesn't glow"........ |
