We don't get much snow in Saudi Arabia but we do get insufferable hot, humid summers.

Well Vic here in Wales the UK last Thursday and Friday we had around 8-12 inches of snow. But on Saturday started to rain and by Sunday it was all gone. The UK in general don't get what I would call hot weather, like the temperatures like say parts of Egypt.Where temps sometimes hits the high 45c,and thats hot.

Got an e-mail from a friend in Melbourne who said the temps there this weekend are predicted to hit 100F - 104F. I'm looking forward to that after the sub-freezing weather we've been having in DC lately.

Hot? Hell no! Just spent last night [14 hours] without electricity. Rain, ice, snow, and then more ice. Electric is back up this morning and the first thing I do is visit here.

I got a co-worker that is visiting KY and she was messaging me last night telling me that it is cold and that they have had no electricity for hours. Wondering if you are in the same place!

Tampa Florida is very nice right now. Thinking of flying to Disney World next weekend, it is a 20 minute flight but a 90 minute drive and the weather is peachy. I have my shirt off in the office and a fan blowing on me. We did have rain yesterday but it lasted about 45 minutes.

My house in California has a few feet of snow but when you get down to the flatlands it is pretty nice.

I was born in Canada in October and could not go out until April because of the snow. After my sister was born my Mother said enough of this and we were off to California!

Vic, you're lucky you live in TO. We got dumped big time yesterday and last night in Hamilton. First the lake effect snow from the east, then the real storm hit in the evening. I've just come in from 3 hours of blowing my sidewalks and driveways. The drifts were up to my chest in places, and one completely covered one side of my old Taurus. Ahh, the pleasures of living on a corner lot!

Just wet. We had some snow last week (well, some, it was a record in some eastern province) and the temperature is NOT that of Winter. Around 8 degrees Centigrade almost everyday. If it snows, it's just wet snow that turns into a dirty slush in no-time

Sunny Queensland, 30 degrees C average, sunny, light breeze, a few clouds dotting the otherwise azure blue sky... From my balcony I can see the ducks on the pond, people jogging around the green gardens, sunlight sparkling off the river, and the Gold Coast, Surfer Paradise within an hours drive.....

yeah the weather is OK here I guess...

Hey, come on! This morning the sun was so bright I had to put on my darker sunglasses!
As it rose I even had to turn on the aircon in my car slightly... the breeze wafting in through the open window wasn't really enough, it's going to be a warm day, i can feel it!

Couldn't resist.....

Ah Queensland.....

On the Gold Coast, QLD/AU.

Yes it's a long way to the cold and snow......

.......but you can walk along this beach in shorts 24/7/365. Water temperature is about 21C

I took this photo last July (our 'winter') from the Q tower Observation deck on 77th floor. Looking south towards Coolangatta.

The Australian birds have nice long legs, short skirts and deep cleavages. So what the hell is wrong with birds, Vic?
