Was wondering who makes the best ballpoint pens, all opinions welcome and photos as well!

If you want a good pen, buy a fountain pen. You want to pick up any ball pens after that.

I agree 100% with John, if a fountain pen is not your desire, try Surefire, expensive, but quality always is.

Love my Mont Blanc fountain pen but use a Waterman ballpoint for everyday use - great pen.

Thanks everyone, I do use a Parker Sonnet, but I would like to get a really nice ballpoint for everyday use.

Check out the Mont Blanc 164 Ballpoint (The Classique size)
Also comes in large size called "le grand".

Both versions comes in gold or platinum

I have the 164 plat and use it daily in school. Very nice pen.

I really like the Montblanc Starwalker rubber fine point model! The weight is perfect and very comfy to use because of the rubber/metal!

Thanks to TRF I really got into fountain pens. However, at work I've started using a lot of carbon paper, so I can't really use an FP for that. I went and got a Black /platinum trim Meisterstuck ball point. Which on immediately swapped the BP refill out for a monteverde capless gel refill.

Have you considered a Rollerball instead? I own a Montblanc Platinum Classique and a Gold Ballpoint as well as a ballpoint Waterman and a handful of nice Cross ones. My fave, however, is my Rollerball.
