Show me some pix of your car and your Rolex.... together!
I'll start.. my 3 babies (AK was left at home unfortunately... couldn't wear 3 watches together that would just be absurd!) but here's my 2004 Mercedes SL500 w/ my "L" Serial MKIII Zenith Daytona and my P Serial Submariner Non-COSC.
Considering getting rid of the Benz... I've had it now for 4 years. Thinking about the '08 Maserati GranTurismo or an '04 Ferrari 360 Modena. And considering getting rid of these Rolex's - LOL I know! - and going straight vintage. Thinking about trading the Daytona and Sub for a Orange hand 1655 and buying a 6263 with the bonuses coming up. I dunno though... decisions decisions!!! Show me yours!!! |

I love it. The cars are in ct so I can't get a pic for you. You don't want the 360 trust me.... The timing belts equal epic fail. Think about 6k maintainence for every 10k miles you drive. Be smart and get a Porsche, they're faster anyway...

Really? Interesting... what about the 456 GT or M? I know they stopped making them around 01/02 but I LOVE that body style. Is this a problem with Ferrari period?

Yazo...if you get a Ferrari...keep that beautiful Mac Benz...you'll need it when the Ferrari's in the shop.
As in above posts...get a Porsche (I know it's more common, but it does have good history & an excellent pedigree), they're fast, handle well, easy on the eyes & not so fussy & a bit less expensive to keep & insure. |

Yazo, I'm not familiar with the 456, but can tell you that the F430 is the first reliable Ferrari. If cars were women, the ferraris would be 6 foot blonde supermodels with bipolar disorder. The Porsche is the gorgeous, intelligent one you spend the rest of your life with...

And the older one. I got this one in this condition from Germany in 1990. A MB 450 SLC - 73 in bad condition. It was cheap but it need some work. So I have to start with it. A new fender and some welding is needed. Some more new parts installed. Now the hard part, it´s a lot of work before painting. Now we are close. Huh, now we have get the primer on. I choose a white color with just a little blue tone, they call it polar ice white. And the final touch. It runs great and I still have it.
