Women wearing full size watches??

Anyone notice the current trend of women wearing men's size watches? My wife had one when I met her which I made fun of then I noticed many other women doing the same. Female flight attendants on Cathay Pacific had men's Rolex's and two women I saw at an upscale jewelry store last month had gold Daytona's!!!

I personally don't like the big fashion watch look. While I prefer a bigger woman I'd rather she not wear a man's watch.

For me it is kind of like the trend a few years ago for women to wear lingerie that was styled after men's underwear. If I wanted to sleep with a man than I would - but I'd rather sleep with a woman, so she'd better not be wearing a man's underwear. Don't even get me started on women with tattoos...

I personally think it's great!

I've never been comfortable wearing the traditional 'women's size'. For me, it's not a trend, but personal taste. My 'perfect fit' is 36mm, though I'm OK with 40mm too.

We have exactly opposite tastes it seems. Ladies wearing full size watches are great! I really like the boy cut brief look on the girls as well... maybe it harkens back to when they'd raid my clothing for something to put on the next morning. Don't get me started on tattoos... some of my fave g/fs wear ink.

As always, to each his (her) own...

I like a larger size watch and went with the 35mm mid-size YM. I think I could even go with a 40mm. There is definitely a trend toward bigger watches for ladies and I say it's about time!! I have a difficult time reading the date on those small ladies watches!! Guess that's what happens when you turn 50!!!

I've been known to wear my husbands GMT every now and again. I wouldn't want it as my everyday watch though.

I think it depends upon the person, my father is a smaller man and he has small wrists so he is locked into the mid-sized Rolex. A regular Rolex just does not fit him. I have seen women who look really nice wearing full sized Rolex. Like many others I feel if the watch smiles at you then get what you want and what you need. When we die I am sure the last thing anyone will say is he/she wore a Rolex.

I see no problem in woman wearing large watches as long as they are Rolex's. I know a few men who have wrists that are very small, doesn't stop them!

my wife has an extremely thin/small gucci bangle type watch which is great as a dress watch but i love seeing her wear my omega (45mm) too- she's not allowed to touch the rolex yet(even though she bought it for me!)

i think it depends

p.s. tags_girl- that certainly suits you, im guessing a smaller watc

Actually it's the men's size Black Sub. Or is that a smaller watch? I have no idea

There's nothing like a woman wearing a full sized watch... and nothing else

As far as tatoos go.. maybe I'm in the minority here but, I guess it depends on how you look at the female form. Is it already art, in and of itself, or just a canvas for someone else's? I choose the former... As long as I'm alienating folks, piercings do NOTHING for me either. No disrespect, to each his own...

Like i said earlier, but my pic and message were deleted for showing a female's bare back, tattoos and women are a beautiful combo. Here is a bonus pic for whoever thought that a womens bare back was considered nudity. (and she was wearing sheer panties that showed her ass crack)
