So I went on a road trip recently and have some pics from it...
Took a road trip with the family from Northeast NJ to Cleveland to Chicago to Milwaukee and Oshkosh and back. I had a blast :D
Maybe too much. I got a speeding ticket C'est la vie Anyway, here are some pics I took from my trip... First stop the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum. I signed the family up as members and had a great time till closing. Unfortunately no pics allowed inside the museum of the artifacts as they are on loan from the artists themselves and they were very strict about it Pictures were only allowed in the main floor and lower level. I'm sure you recognize this car... After closing I got to drive up the ramp to take this pic. We left shortly after as I had 5 hours of driving in front of me. Heading to Chicago as the sun sets... Finally! We got to the hotel around midnight Went on a sunset boat cruise and as luck would have it they had fireworks that night! Then we headed to Oshkosh for AirVenture. A "small" gathering of planes Because it is an air themed event, I must match the timepiece, lol. There was actually a Breitling corporate booth at the show but alas, no freebie Remember Baa Baa Black Sheep with Robert Conrad? I loved that show! And their plane isn't too shabby. I love the nose arts The next day we headed to Milwaukee to check out the Harley Davidson Museum. The first model ever: Some early examples... I think this is where they got the idea for CHiPs Posters... The birth of the Sportster Some vintage gas tanks... Never knew HD had a collaboration with Porsche This was my favorite two wheeler in the entire place The parking lot. I did see a couple of beemers amongst the hogs Last shot before the loooong trip back home I'm a car guy more than I am a motorcycle guy but I really enjoyed the museum. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the place. Hope you enjoyed the pics Cheers, Jay
