New watch - 16660

Our good buddy Steve M had been looking for a GMT-II Fat Lady for me, but hadn't been pleased with what he was finding. I mentioned to him off hand that I'd be interested in seeing any SDs he might have, and he hooked me up! It just arrived today!

I had been admiring 16660s, and this was a great opportunity to grab one.

It's an 8.3M serial (~1984) and should have a matte dial, but it was likely swapped during a service and has a gloss wg-surround dial.

Steve is looking for a nice matte to swap in, but for now I am in love. The case, bracelet, and bezel assembly are in fantastic shape, and the watch is running like a top. I love the open date wheel, as you can see the 9 is open... an oft overlooked difference between the 16660 and the 16600.
