Hi guys - been a very long time lurker so thought it was time I actually posted :)

Gotta say I love reading all the great stories and opinions here. Haven't really had a chance to post much cuz I've always been busy cuz of uni but I figure it's summer so I should make an effort.

From what i've seen in other introductions it's customary to list my watches so I guess I'll stick with tradition

I bought my first what I guess you can call *real* watch when I was 16 after working all summer at a great old minimum wage of £5 an hour to get an Omega SMP 300 (Co-Axial). That kept me more than satisfied for a very long time but it eventually became a beater watch for me, I wore it out clubbing and for anything really - hence it's many scratches lol.

After passing my A-levels (which for the US guys is the exams you take to get into University) I decided it was time for another and was torn between the SS GMTiic and the SS Sub Date so ultimately decided on the gmt. I bought a lovely V serial GMTiic last September but that niggling thought of the sub stuck with me so i gave in and bought an SS sub a few months later at the ripe old age of 19.

Well anyway my watch activity has been pretty slow as of late due to lack of funds and my poor student status lol bought I guess in the mean time I can stare at all the amazing watches on here until I can afford one again
