Which would you rather. The new Sub-C or the Milgauss
We all know how popular the Submariner is, but is its styling really that nice compared to some other brands diving watches (Breitling)?
If you want to own a Rolex and you don't dive would you consider a nicer styped watch like the Milgauss vs the Sub-C? |

Sub-C all the way. I don't like not having the date even on a Rolex.

Sub is an iconic Rolex, so that would be a great 1 rolex, even if you dont dive.
On the other hand, the Milgauss is a more dressy watch, it is beautiful imo. If you want a dressy rolex, should look into the DJ range (if you must have a date function) |

I would rather have a Sub C that any Breitling diver or a Milgauss. Since we´re talking about styling, it comes down to a personal decision.

Sub.....to me the milgauss is a "sport" watch but I'm not wild about PCL'c on Rolex's sport watches.

GV! But only because I already have a Sub (older).
IMHO a Milgauss is not a first/ only Rolex, but a part of a rotation. Anyone considering an only-watch-Rolex would do himself a favor by choosing a Sub.

I'm the proud owner of a Milgauss GV for over a year now. And I'm still enjoying the looks of it. Every single day... but the next thing on my wishlist is the new Sub-C! Man, that thing is awesome!!

IMO....EVERYONE'S going to end up getting the Sub-C. There's been a huge influx here already. Be Different and get a Millie.

Sub ... i love my GV Milgauss, but it is not a first/only watch - the Sub is. My 16600 Sd is my all time favorite ... at the moment with a green Nato.

Sub is too small imo, the milgauss has the heft and weight that just feels true quality to me. I would opt for the Deepsea if you have larger wrists but that is a whole other animal all together.

If you're me, it's bofum. I notice your post didn't say, 'GV'. Which is good...
because the black dial model is far less hokey-looking, imho. The Sub-c is a sports watch, the Milgauss much dressier. I went for both.

No brainer for me, as i don't really like the new sub - plus the pricepoint is ridiculous. Millie - any dial, any crystal.

Sub-C if you don't already have a Submariner in your collection, but if you do, I would go Milgauss GV
