I've been having an excellent time on this forum, I fear your stuck with me...

I am starting to feel like I am taking advantage of this and I want to know more about the Pledge titles. Is this when anyone donates, are there requests or time windows?? I notice some say 'Ink'? I might just be wrong about what they mean.. poking around.

Just trying to help out, I've dipped into just about every forum and had a lot of laughs and I'm learning a lot!'

There will be an opportunity at some unknown time to make a "donation" for excess message storage space. Probably, there will be a "door prize" for one of the donators. This helps support the forum and you will have an opportunity to be a "pledge" member then.

Not entirely correct because in order to be eligible to participate you have to be a pledge member.

When that time comes the tickets disappear quickly and you won't have time to be part of it so I suggest you PM steve (Lol-x) and make a donation.

Hmmm... what's the difference between "2010 Pledge 250 Ink" and "2010 Pledge Member 200"?

Perhaps there should be a sticky on this membership system for the newbies like me....

Ask Steve (lol-x) for the official explanation via PM. The wording of the explanation can be tricky but I can say the "Ink" comes from a Mont Blanc pen that he had.

It gives members the opportunity to support the ongoing costs of the forum.

Pledge members enjoy additional privilege such as additional personal message capacities and the opportunity to participate in activities that are conducted during the course of the year.

Pledge membership is available to those who wish to participate.
