So... is there a price increase yet?

It's a second day in September, are we seeing Rolex price increase?
Have a great day, everyone!

There were a couple of threads circulating yesterday pointing to a 10% spike in EU on certain models (Daytona specifically)

As mentioned in a few other threads in the last couple of weeks, the price increase in the US is scheduled for the week of September 13th.

It's gonna happen pretty soon and there's nothing we can do to stop it.

I didn't think an AD would get emails about increases from from Rolex, but I might be wrong. I talked my AD in Destin yesterday. No FedEx yet about increase. Might be good marketing tactic on the AD part to start talking about it to increase sells from those folks contemplating buying a Rolex Watch...

As I mentioned earlier there was a price increase in Finland (EU), about 10%.

For example the Exp 2 whent from ~4600 euro to ~5100 euro. More than 10%! Makes me guessing next year with the updated/restyled Exp2 we will see a price tag of 6000+ euro! The DSSD whent from 7260 euro to 8000 euro! So here again about 10%.

Here can be found the current price list; (choose Rolex at the banner on the left)

Well, I received an email from one of my favorite ADs in SoCal yesterday afternoon. The AD said that Rolex will increase prices September 15. Stainless Steel models will increase 8%, and gold / steel & gold models will increase 12% to 15%.

I guess we will see which models increase and by how much, but I just wanted to share the information I got yesterday afternoon. Of course, my local AD in PA maintains that they have received nothing formal, and that they (as always) will receive notice of a price increase when/if a new price book shows up unannounced from Rolex. Hmmm....
