But without the papers.......
I was about to buy a gmt II without papers and send it into rolex for a nice tune up untill i found out that without papers it may be stolen and rolex service center can confiscate it. Then I said what if i give you a serial number can you run the number, they said no, only way is to send it in and if its stolen then they take it. So i passed on the gmt, i figure , i doubt a stolen one would ever be stolen WITH papers. Besides would anyone by a boat, or car with no papers, and a rolex is as much as some peoples cars.
