Sub C or Daytona SS white face

Which one would you rather buy as an investment? I just purchased the sub c and it should arrive later this week. Will post pics asap! I was in vegas over the weekend and I probably spent more time in watch shops at the casinos (wynn collection is amazing) than anything else, much to the demise of my gf. Thanks everyone in advance for your comments

For me it would have to be the new Sub-C.

None of them are called investment but Sure the Daytona will be retailing at $10900 in that range in few days
Wear and enjoy what you got and don't worry about the investment part of it

Can't imagine any of the sapphire crystal references to be investment grade anytime soon.

If you're leaning more towards investment: for Daytona money, I would rather get a Red Sub or stretch the budget for a 1665 Great White. Or maybe a 655.

Don't use the I word I'd get the Sub, myself, it really is one of the best diver's watches that money can buy. I'm not sure I could say the same with the Daytona and chronographs

if the "investment" you meant is for your personal pleasure and satisfaction, then i would suggest both.

the smile you get from changing to one another is priceless imo......

(thats why i have both when i get the chance)

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Instead of investment, which of the two watches do you think would retain its value more?

Daytona will yield a better resell value.

I wouldn't be so sure - the market for the Daytona is looking pretty weak at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised if it totally collapses in the not too near future

Wow...$10,900 msrp for the Daytona?

My Speedy Pro is sounding like it's going to be my sole Chronograph for quite some time :-/

Happy with my Series Y Sub... So the GMTllC may happen for me in the future!

Between those two, the Daytona. Have you considered getting a BNIB Sub 16610?

You could get a TT Sub C; I would prefer that to either of those. If you must pick one of the two, then a Daytona IMO.

I love the Daytona***8230; don't get me wrong, you picked a great watch (Sub C) but to me there is something special about the Daytona. There's always room for another watch down the road! Enjoy.

They are two very different watches. I really like the new Sub-C but would likely choose the Daytona.

I don't think either would be a good "investment"

But of the two mentioned, I would grab the new Sub-C. Best sports watch out there IMO
