New Member- Gone vintage and no turning back
Hi Everyone - New member here. I’ve been lurking for quite some time. Savoring all the photos. Overwhelmed by all the possibilities, dazzled and seduced by all the watch porn. After weighing all the possibilities and following the various discussions of models and favorites, I ended up with a GMT II/16710 only to succumb days later to the charms of a vintage GMT 16750, Pepsi dial/jubilee bracelet. (And I want to especially thank Jacek for his patience, putting up with countless questions, and for lining me up with a wonderful example of this unique piece of Rolex time keeping legacy.) Unfortunately, as many have discovered before, there’s no turning back now. I’m after the cleanest example of a 1680 I can find.
Thanks to everyone for the wonderful info on this site. Cheers! Michael |

Super nice. I joined to just buy one watch and then leave. I now have three and I am still here.

Welcome to the matte dial club!! OK, there are a few older glossy gilt dials that need to be included as well.
Once you gain an appreciation for vintage, there's really no turning back. Which ain't a bad thing IMO!!
