So I wanted a sport watch........
I decided I wanted to get a sporty watch that a little more "rough and tumble."
I originally was going to get a Tudor Hydronaut. (it would have been my 4th Tudor) I was looking for one in specific with a rubber strap and a straight black dial. Tudors being as tough as they are to find in Canada, without having to oder it and wait 4-6 months, the closest I found was a black carbon fiber dial. It was really nice but it did not sing to me. So I kept looking. I went to an Oris AD. To my surprise I came across this an Oris F1 with a black somewhat textured dial and VOILA! For the price, I am really impressed. I've only been wearing the watch for a little while now but it has got to be one of the most comfortable watches I've ever had. It molds to the wrist. I have not had time to take pics yet but I've attached a pic I found on the Oris web site of the exact the watch I purchased. When I get a chance I'll get some pics of the movement through the clear case back. The Oris Caliber 635 movement (base ETA 2836-2) is really something to see. IMHO really worth the money |

Once I figure out how to take better pics, obviously not as good as Chips', I'll get one of the lume. IT IS STRONG AND BRIGHT!
The rubber tire for an inner box that it came with is kinda' nice. Very different. |
