Presto Chango!

It's like having two brand new Rolex Date's.
The before:

And now, after a quick trip to my local watchdoctor:

For those who care about the historical background...the Black dial was purchased as an 'extra' in Switzerland in 1988. I did not have to surrender the original Silver stick dial. And the white gold dial was just purchased from a vendor in Asia.

I know it's tough to do, but having extra dials and a good watch tech is like having extra Rolex's.

Nice.

I prefer the blue on the stainless. I really like the gold with white dial.

Yup! Both watches got the makeover. The Gold has had the original Champagne dial since it was purchased new in '88. As I've aged, so have my eyes, and I was looking for something with a bit more contrast. I've already got a Blue Tudor quartz and a Blue Tudor mini sub,

So, I figured Blue was well represented in my collection, and besides, I haven't had the black dial on the Date SS since '96.

You know, JJ, everybody should have these kinds of life problems...I'm really extraodinarily lucky to be able to collect these things and share the experiences here.

Thanks for taking time to look and comment...
